In this striking sculpture in shades of fire and earth, Gadi explores the creation of life and its parallels to the birth of matter. The seed of life represented as a circle at its center, the sculpture unfurls, revealing it as a pearl emerging from a shell. The many strata, colors and shades of the stone become visible, giving insight into the usually amorphous concept of time.

At age 40, Gadi made the courageous decision to take his artistic devotion to the next level, leaving his job in the vineyards and focusing on sculpting full time.
