Innocence, Balloon Girl Series

To be installed in the city of Bat Yam in Summer 2023.

Passion, boldness, and innocence are the inspirations behind Fraiman’s latest series. While watching his granddaughters at play, Fraiman saw these pure emotions of authentic joy and yearned to re-create that feeling in the viewer.

Gadi Fraiman’s newest series of young girls playing with these oversized silver balloons were intended to bring the audience into the world of an innocent, joyful child full of passion and fearlessness.

The latest model called  ‘Innocence’ explores the duality of adult craving for the moments of pure childish joy while maintaining that psychological need for emotional maturity. There is a tug between these lines of thought as you see the reflection of your adult self while immersed in the amusement of the child at play.

The first of this series will be on display in the city of Bat Yam alongside the Mediterranean Sea.
