About The Artwork

In this onyx piece, Gadi forms the North star, Polaris, and the gases surrounding it, usually invisible to the naked eye. A circular emanation of light at the center is surrounded by cloud-like swirls. The special properties of onyx allow light to shine through the sculpture, adding to its starry quality. Polaris is the star that shines brightest, showing us the way when we are lost, this sculpture an emblem of our inner compass.
