Lot’s Wife

In a unique take on a classical story, Gadi carves Lot’s Wife as he would imagine her with the passage of time. “Nature leaves its imprint, and I was envisioning what Lot’s Wife would look like two thousand years later, as a melted pillar of salt.” Whilst retaining some of her feminine features, Gadi plays with the rock formation of the quartz to create the impression of stalagmites and decay.
